Madison Meron (she/her)

MA, LMHCA, MFTA

Welcome, I’m glad you are here!

I believe that we already have resources within us, but that trauma (individual, family and on a systemic scale) has separated us from ourselves, each other and the earth. We have parts of us that are trying to protect us and need to be heard. Our partners, children and other important relationships also have parts of them that need to be listened to and befriended. Instead of trying to push down, drown out or intellectualize our problems away, we can gently listen to our bodies that house our human experience and welcome in our parts. It would be my honor to guide you as you reconnect with your innate wisdom, finding greater harmony with yourself and beyond.

Some of my favorite childhood memories involve running around barefoot while playing outside and I am on a journey of reconnecting with that part of me in adulthood. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, trying new food, spending time in nature and creative activities like painting and ceramics. I look forward to learning more about you as we work together!

Location of Self

I am striving to decolonize my therapy practice and be sensitive to the culture, identities and values of my clients as they move about in this complex society. I am a white, able-bodied, cisgender woman who grew up in the South with access to financial resources. I am in an interracial marriage, which has helped me more deeply understand the nuances of different cultural values and ways of communicating. I am a highly sensitive person (HSP) and have lived experience of complex trauma within a religious context.

These parts of me, among others, impact how I show up as a therapist. I care immensely about the parts you bring into the therapy room and supporting you in a way that feels safe and culturally sensitive. I welcome discussions about culture, identity & social complexities throughout our time working together and hope to continually expand my perspective.
